I am the first to agree with C.S. Lewis that the sins of the flesh are
nothing in comparison to the sin of pride. All Christians are
struggling with at least one sin---otherwise, how would "we are all
sinners" make sense. The question is if a homosexual considers her/his
actions sinful. That is the crux of the matter----all else would lead to
confusion.

So if I believe murder not to be sinful then it is not? I agreed to the
point that until one knows what sin is, how can it be a sin. But if one
knows it to be sin then it is. I realize this sounds confusing, but it is
not. God tells us, through his word, what is sinful and what is not. For
those humans who do not know his word (very few remain) then sin may be
unknown. For how can one disobey ones parent if one does not know what that
parent ordered to begin with. But once aware of the orders given, then one
is accountable. God wants us all to be accountable. He does not want us to
live like animals without a sense of humanity. But he also wants us to
follow his word and when we fail to do so, ask for his forgiveness and make
earnest effort to change. Denying sin to be sin does not make it saintly.
