Yet another reason for cleaning up our act would be that you would not want
to invite someone to the list , only to have them suffering gratuitious
insults and harangues from our problem posters.Before we can talk about
raising our profile in the academic world, we have to lose the crackpots(
H'mm, I guess that could be considering name calling, but I can't think of
what else to call 'em).

PS I really liked our having Collins on the list. Maybe we could have
someone like Plantinga on to discuss how the ASA could gain reputation
as an academic group. The christian philosophers have done it.
