<<p.s.: By the way, there's a very interesting article on the same issue
entitled "Television Viewing and Aggressive Behavior During Adolescence
and Adulthood"
<
I read that this morning. The news account was unconvincing. The old
"correlation does not imply causation" argument, of course.
If I had a nickel for every act of violence I saw in the movies & TV as a
younger person, I'd be very very rich. But I don't own a gun, and I think
I've never even been in a fight since 10th grade (and that was not very
violent).
Of my eight children, only one watched TV a great deal compared to the
others. He is, today, a Baptist minister. So go figure.
