C isn't an option in the post you are referring to, because it was about women who are abused and think they should "turn the other cheek" and just live with it. Since I'm not the victim or the aggressor, I don't see how it applies to me. I wasn't there, and I don't even know these people!

I think you missed one of the three possible approaches to moral uncertainty;

A. Blame other people for being stupid (or whatever)

B. Blame God for not spelling it out clearly enough

C. Take personal responsibility for one's own lack of moral vision (the log in one's eye)

I guess you think C. isn't an option?
