You're engaging in abstract theoretical moralising when you should be worrying about issues which ARE relevant to you personally.
i.e. pointing out the splinter in other people's eyes rather than worrying about the log in your own.
Over and above that, I now wonder why - if you feel the issue is of no relevance to YOU - you then expect other list members to form an opinion on the matter. Do you think WE are (a) victims, or (b) perpetrators, of spousal abuse?
