I think you missed one of the three possible approaches to moral uncertainty;

A. Blame other people for being stupid (or whatever)

B. Blame God for not spelling it out clearly enough

C. Take personal responsibility for one's own lack of moral vision (the log in one's eye)

I guess you think C. isn't an option?
