Exactly. If I drop a rock from 30,000 feet the rock will fall
*randomly* insomuch as I will not be able to predict where it lands
precisely. However, given sufficient data (rock´s weight, wind speed,
humidity etc etc) one could tell where the rock would land. Randomness
is constrained (as others have noted) by the physical laws governing
reality. Randomness is really just insufficient data - our ignorance of
the data. Truly random would be for the rock in mid fall to suddenly
rocket up to 50,000 feet and turn into a boeing 747.
