[asa] Opposing evolution

Another group is now fighting evolution. The following text is from
the American Center for law and justice:

The ACLU is rallying its troops.

A recent ACLU mailing rails against "religious extremism" and
the "'faith-based' drive for power" ... against a "biblical world-
view"....

They're ... "pushing back" in schools where the teaching of
evolution-only is being challenged. They're calling the months
ahead "some of the most critical ever" ... .

So we are fighting back!"

Jay Sekulow apparently takes his marching orders from Falwell and/or
Robertson. One more case of how the YECs have won.

I know -- some of you object to my saying they have won. But with 61%
of all Americans in general agreement with them (poll cited in
AMERICAN THEOCRACY), how else can it be described?
