I remember performing the M-M experiment as an undergraduate at
Carnegie Tech about 55 years ago. The subject brought back to mind a
question:
The M-M experiment is always done with the light beams at right
angles in a horizontal plane. Has it ever been done either at some
other angles or in a vertical plane?
I can think of no reason the results should vary -- but has it ever
been tried?
