Dear Dick,

I wholeheartedly agree that the old-earth and theistic evolutionists are
divided and this greatly hinders our efforts.

It is also true that we should be more vocal against atheistic evolution and
naturalism rather than siding with them. I will sooner side with YEC than
atheism. I think we also must be very careful about how we address YECs,
careful to do it lovingly and not ot vilify them (this is also true about our
treatment of atheists, of course).

I think we should be united with the YECs on the big issues, and we should
make that clear, even while criticizing their scientific viewpoints.
