Re: ASA positions on science/faith issues

This is a useful and important discussion. I will just point people to
the ASA Statement on Creation that was written by a subcommittee of the
Creation Commission (including myself) five or so years ago. The first
part of that document gave a series of statements to which all of the
members agreed. That might provide a starting point for the
development of a more focussed statement by the ASA. The statement is
posted on the ASA website.

BTW: I do like Allan Harvey's proposed draft.
