The reason I posted the article was that it provides a very real
challenge to us. A verbalized faith means nothing (and worse than
nothing) if it is not translated into Christ-like action. We are to
be conformed to the image of Christ, and that means living our faith in
a way that reflects Christ's life of sacrificial service.

I have seen too much of Christians using their faith only to undergird
their already determined agendas. Their faith only justifies their
actions, rather than challenging them. It comforts rather than
discomfits. I have also seen Christians use the most ungracious,
condemning and hurtful language against others (even, and particularly,
other Christians). Such actions do nothing for the Kingdom of God.
That is the point of the article for me.
