Several More Reasons:

1. You can't safely back out of a parking space with those huge SUVs
blocking your sight lines on both sides. (survival of the fittest)
2. Seniors find it impossible get in and out of the blame things.
3. Ditto for large people.
4. Safety: 4 wheel drive is essential for survival on the back dirt roads of
VT and on freeways with people driving at 75 (that's mph Michael).
Unfortunately the MPG then falls to the middle 20s even with a Subaru.
5. Have you ever driven 600 miles with 3 kids under 6 in one of the midgets
you suggest?

With much sensitivity,

Jack
