            One person who has done this is St. Paul. In Romans 1:18-3:20 he works to the
    conclusion that all people are sinners - with no reference to the first humans. & even
    when he talks about Adam in Chapter 5 there is nothing in his statements that requires
    Adam to have lived only a few thousand years ago.
