I attended the Annual Meeting of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society in
2000. I had joined the society to meet one man, Kevin MacDonald, the
evolutionary psychologist, who had written 3 books on Judaism. One of his books was
subtitled 'the evolutionary strategy of Judaism,' and that caught my attention
because I had been working on an essay in my spare time over the years based on
a re-reading of the Bible from a Darwinian perspective. I titled it Natural
Selection and the Nature of God, so here were Jews and evolution in both titles.
My essay explained how Judaism was a rational and pragmatic religion and
could account for the intelligence, material success and survival of the Jews.
When I learned about MacDonald, I copyrighted the essay and sent it to him. He
replied that my basic conclusions were right, which I suspected because I had
earned a BA in psychology and anthropology just to reality test my knowledge
against what was being taught at the universities.
What I later learned is that MacDonald's work is being suppressed. I saw it
at the conference.
Steven Pinker, Norman Wright, Richard Dawkins (the would be destroyer of
religion), Robert Trivers, to name just a few, all presented at the conference. I
saw Trivers, one of the pioneers of sociobiology speak to Kevin MacDonald at
the banquet. I attended the symposium, Jim Tooby, a past president of HBES,
held on Kevin MacDonald's work. 2 people spoke before MacDonald and one after,
(the transcript is available). One of the Jewish speakers called MacDonald's
work "anti-semitic," but at the end of the symposium there were many objections,
including my own, from the crowd as they exited.
Later, being a member of HBES, I was allowed to participate on their web site
in a feature titled 'Darwin's Cafe' where threads were posted. I got into a
few threads over MacDonald and Darwin's Cafe was taken down a month later. I
then joined their online discussion group (hbe-l). By that time, MacDonald knew
me and proposed I enter a thread. I won my arguments and I was also called an
anti-semite, not for bad behavior, but because there were no good responses to
any of my arguments. Later, hbe-l was abandoned.
IT IS INCONCEIVABLE TO ME THAT DAWKINS DOES NOT KNOW OF MACDONALD'S WORK.
So, why the caps?
Judaism has been proven to generate a high IQ population of great social
cohesion, people brighter and more loyal to one another than to "others." You
don't see the "religion" being done to accomplish that because it's tucked behind
ghetto walls in scattered breeding communities all over the world. The Bible
is so real and true from a Darwinian perspective, it's mind boggling. And I
fight for the Levitical prohibitions because when one group embraces them and
another abandons them, the group abandoning them becomes gradually extinct and
displaced by the group embracing them. That's niche theory and it's in the
Bible. Read the first few lines of Exodus and you see the nature of the conflict
between the Hebrews and the Egyptians. Watch Nehemiah exhort his people to breed
true.
THAT'S WHAT'S BEING SUPPRESSED.
I have written to dawkins at the english paper he writes for to complain
about this very thing. It is ironic that Dawkins denies religion just as his peers
have found its utility. I wonder whether he's as pig ignorant as you think he
is. I hope he is actually, because if he was trying to deprive us of
something he knew was good for us, that would make him quite a scoundrel, wouldn't it?
