Catching up after a Texas cacation ...

Glenn wrote, in part: " Unless Booth is an autonomous agent, independent of
    God,
then God created the brain states every bit as assuredly as he created the
oxidation of gun powder and the lack of movement on the part of Lincoln
which would have allowed him to duck the bullet.

This may be the way some like it, but I sure don't."

The obvious answer to this is, of course, that Booth IS, at least in part,
an autonomous agent. As both you and I are. If he is not -- than he is
    simply
a robot. I know I am not a robot; I am not so sure of you (99.99% perhaps),

and I am even less sure of certain other beings I've encountered along
    my 68+ year path.

BTW -- enjoyed your essay in the latest PERSPECTIVES. I did not know the
timing of your defection from the YEC position -- I was surprised
to see it was so recently. Seems to me we've been jabbing at each other
for more years than since 1994!

    Blessings

    JB
