    Did life originate on Earth, or was it borne here on a fragment of rock from
    one of the zillions of other planets? It almost seems like asking whether
    a plant evolved where we see it, or whether it grew from a seed that blew
    there. The question might be a logical no-brainer if I could overcome my
    Earth-first prejudice.
