FWIW, I think Janet was just saying that your -journal sources- are
academics (and hence, in her view, tempted to lie, distort, etc. to please
their masters), not that -you're- an academic.
Her charge seems rather scandalous -- I hope her "old river gravel" evidence
is not just in the "it seems to me" or "it seems to Petersen" category.
