JQ: Exactly how obvious is the statement that evolution is both
a fact and a theory? Is it obvious that the most complex 'thing' that we

Quite obvious. It is a fact since one observes in the fossil record a
certain trend. It is a theory because it tries to explain how this
happened.

JQ: know of(us) got here through random mutations? Did you fail to listen

Since evolution does not claim such, this is better known as a strawman
argument.

evolution of the kind that causes new cells, tissues and organs to form has
never been seen. Obvious? Don't think so. Do we experience these types

So you claim. But then again there is plenty of evidence supporting
evolution even the kind of evolution that causes new cells, tissue and
organs to form. Check out the fruitfly experiments for an easy reference.
Your library with all these books surely has a scientific reference.
