    To anyone interested in ID, especially Michigan residents:

    Two bills concerning science education have been introduced into the
    Michigan House. HB 4946 requests that the scientific concept of evolution be
    singled out as an "unproven theory" and that the "intelligent design"
    concept be taught as a competing theory. HB 5005 requests that both the
    "design hypothesis" and explanations based on "nature is all there is" be
    permitted in the public school science classroom. Howard Van Till, Emeritus
    Professor of Physics and Astronomy, will be lecturing on the Intelligent
    Design movement, its cultural context, its agenda, and its scientific
    shortcomings November 14-16 at Christ Community Church in Spring Lake. For
