I appreciate William's correction on rape. But could we get off of this subject of homosexuality and move on to something more related to the science/religion interface?

Rape is a heterosexual act. But heterosexuality and heterosexual acts in
      general are not a sin.

Rape can be either heterosexual or homosexual in terms of whether the victim is of the opposite or same sex. However, rape is generally regarded as less an act of sex and more a crime of violence and domination.
