Discussions of both Wiseman's tablet idea and documentary hypotheses are also found in Kidner, Derek. 1967. Genesis. in D. J. Wiseman (ed.), Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries. InterVarsity Press, Downers Grove, Illinois. 224 p. He is dubious about both, for reasons similar to those brought up on the list already.
His preferred explanation for the 6 day format of Genesis 1 does not fit a standard category. He suggests it highlights the importance of man to God in the face of the vastness of creation in time and space.
