Although dealing with a broader topic than your comment, there is an
excellent article by scientifically-informed theologian Niels Henrik
Gregersen in the Fall 2001 issue of the Lutheran theological journal "dialog"
(The Cross of Christ in an Evolutionary World: v.40, no.3, p. 192-207). This
is one of the best articles (IMHO) I've seen on the topic in the last several
years. Those folks familiar with George Murphy's work will find a kindred
soul here.
