It is significant that the ID Network, the newly formed Kansas organization
with close ties to the Discovery Institute, includes young Earth
creationists on its board of directors. The supporters of the previous
board's action were predominantly YECs. The YECs have simply adopted the
ID arguments and terminology.
It is certainly a strange alliance, but one that they seem determined to
preserve.
