    Stephen Matheson wrote, in part:

" It is only a slight oversimplification to say that Noll attributes the
whole disaster to the loss of self-criticism in the analysis and
    incorporation of ideas."

Noll's book is everything Stephen says. Vernon Jenkins read Stephen's post
    as
saying Noll's book was an attack on the YECs. It is much more than this; it
    is
an attack on all of us who are guilty of "lazy thinking" and, more to the
    point, those of
us who seldom, if ever, study opposing views, reading and listening only to
    those who
    agree with us.
