Mr. Streutker,

First of all I want to apologize if in any way my message to you came
across as demeaning or sarcastic. I do not believe that Christians,
among whom I number myself, should be putting down our brothers in
Christ in that manner.

Indeed, probably my biggest complaint against the YEC advocates I have
known is not their shoddy science, but their uncharitable behavior
towards both unbelievers and non-YEC brothers in Christ. Even if they
ae ultimately proved, in that great day which we all long for, to be
right (which I doubt), I firmly believe they will be severely rebuked
for the conceit and arrogance they have demonstrated in this area.

Now, as for death - My point is: I have read repeatedly how
creationists complain about how could God use such a cruel and death
driven method as evolution as his method creation. I am only saying
that God had no qualms about using as the means of our salvation.
Surely, he could have also incorporated it into his plan of creation.

I wonder if we have to separate simple cessation of biological functions
from the greater issue of the death of the Spirit of God within Man, and
the termination of the "natural" fellowship with God that Man was
originally endowed with.

May the God and Father of our Lord and Savior,
the Crucified and Resurrected Jesus Christ,
whom I love with all my heart and all my soul and all my
mind,
bless you and yours,
and to him be all glory, honor and praise.
