[asa] stopping unwanted e-mails

Dear All:

For what it's worth, I wrote privately to Ms. Matchett a few weeks ago, a very brief but entirely polite note asking her to take my name off her "ASA mailing list", as I no longer wished to receive her posts. I did not say anything against her, or against her views, or against her posts, but merely indicated that I did not wish to receive them. She replied, reasonably, politely and succinctly: "Of course"; I have not received anything from her since. I recommend trying this approach before trying anything more drastic. It may be that she will remove from her distribution list any individual who asks, without giving any trouble at all. If that is the case, then this is a privately resolvable matter which need not occupy our public discussion any longer.

Cameron.

  Thank you John.

I hate to interrupt the flow, but I need to say we all need to set our filters to delete email from janmatch@earthlink.net.

I don't know how to make it any more clear that her getting emails from the ASA does not constitute permission to send me email. She is a stalker and is committing harrassment.

Can we pursue law enforcement options to stop her?
