My view exactly! I worry about ID people comparing cells to engineered artefacts and so setting themselves up for the "creationist in a cheap tuxedo" critique.

I don't think the ID argument is fatally flawed here - but, in my opinion, the patient can only be discharged from the casualty ward after the appropriate administration of a due appreciation for how engineering is practised in the 21st century. Such is the only sure anti-dote for the rather unfortunate ailment of working under the assumption that the discipline peaked with James Watt.
