Interesting in view of the fact that in 1996 Thomas criticized Pope Jihn
Paul II for his positive statements about evolution, & has been critical of
evolution in other places as well. It's true that in the column Ted
references Thomas doesn't speak about Collins' views on evolution & in the
last 2 paragraphs seems to be putting a design spin Collins' words about the
information in the human genome. Nevertheless, he's apparently decided that
half a loaf is better than no bread.
