Had God created by evolution, BIRDS would have appeared following the BEASTS of the earth on 'day 6'. But he declares they were created the day before! Further, following his 6 days of creativity, he pronounces his work complete (Gen.2:1) - not just the termination of a phase in an ongoing process.
In view of the overwhelming evidence of supernatural design in the prologue to the Creation Narrative - where the packing of so much information into the opening sequence of just 8 Hebrew words is truly awesome (www.whatabeginning.com/ASPECTS/ASPECTS_1.html) -reason suggests that these anomalies cannot lightly be written off as scribal errors. It follows that TE is no longer a sensible option for thinking people - and Ida, merely a figment of the imagination of a mind completely divorced from its creator.
