annual total since systematic record-keeping began. These disasters caused $69
billion in recorded losses worldwide. Climate change will likely lead to more
heat-waves, heavier precipitation, broader droughts, and more-intense tropical
cyclones, all of which could further increase the number of catastrophic
weather events."

We could add to this the Feb. 10th, 2009 tornado in Oklahoma (about 3 weeks
earlier than the "normal" storm season); the February tornado this week in
Spain and..... and ......
Of course this should not be considered to be supporting evidence of climate
change induced by global warming!
