Re: [asa] "American Association of Christians in Science?"

An excellent question. I don't know the history behind the name. Actually a similar question arose ~ 25 years ago about the name of the ASA's journal, which used to be simply _Journal of the American Scientific Affiliation_. Like the name of ASA itself, that gave no hint about the religious dimension & made it unlikely that seminary libraries &c would want to subscribe to the journal. The current title, _Perspectives on Science and Christian Faith_, is much clearer.
