I totally agree. YECs acribe all theological and moral depravity to
evolution, as if the difficult issues did not exist before Darwin.
Unfortunately, most evangelical Christians have a kindergarden
understanding of the relevant theologies. By that I mean that they
have never wrestled with what our basic Christian doctrines REALLY
mean, HOW they really "work" and HOW they can make sense. And of those
who create very precise systems of doctrine to attempt to explain
these things (e.g., hard-lined Calvinism), the difficult points end up
being "dealt" with by simply declaring that God works it out (e.g.,
how a strong view of Election can be reconciled with free will).

Evolution is blamed for the message that says "this is the way nature
is" when in fact is primarily just the messenger.
