There is always (there must be) a tension between God's transcendance
and God's immanence. To favor one over the other is always dangerous.
And likewise, "orthodox" and "liberal" theologies are necessary foils
for one another.

"Eugenics" is a pejorative word, of course, and rightfully so. Yet we
all search for mates "suitable" to propagate our family line! <G>
