While I personally like the fact that there are conspicuous
constellations in both hemispheres in the shape of a cross, an
illustration of the danger of putting too much emphasis on such things
is the fact that a couple of kinds of Cretaceous microfossils, under
the microscope, feature convincing swastikas. There's a bivalve
(genus Rasta) with a fair approximation of dreadlocks, but its idea of
better living through chemistry is symbiotic chemosynthetic bacteria.
