??? Dangerous practices? Having encountered all these, I fail to see where they are in conflict with orthodox Xtianity.

The faith does change over the years. Once women were 2nd class people and non-whites not people at all. That was part of Xtianity. But it was a false part, just as the current segregation of our gay and lesbian friends is.

Orthodox Xtianity is a relationship with Christ. However that may be expressed.
