Octopus have basic abstract reasoning abilities, so intelligent
animals have at least two separate origins evolutionarily. Although
humans are unique, Biblically, we also have distinct links to other
organisms.

The exact status of animals in heaven (including presence/absence) is
not specified. All than can be safely said is that, if theyr'e not
there, something better is.

C. S. Lewis joked that mosquito heaven and human hell could overlap.
