RE: [asa] Flat Earth in earlier Christendom

I would concur in that it wasn't necessarily "taught" as a doctrine because
it was an idea that was already believed to be the case by the writers and
their audiences, so anytime a reference is made to the earth's structure, it
is always in the ANE framework. What gets me is when Christians argue that
the Bible is somehow written with an accurate 21st Century cosmology. .
