Re: [asa] Dawkins is at it again

I'm always amused at how often Dawkins and other NAs use words like 'good'
and 'evil' to describe what they like and dislike, despite having some
severe trouble accounting for such things within their worldview. Unless
good means 'this I subjectively like' and evil means 'this I subjectively
dislike'. Doubly so when it comes to child welfare, which collides with his
whole 'Peter Singer is an incredibly moral man' routine in an interesting
way.

As for the bigotry (not to mention this latest bout of weirdness), I suspect
he peddles it because he can get away with it. It takes a debate with an
observant opponent for someone to hammer him on the inconsistency - and once
he's in that situation, he's usually providing bigger and better targets.
(His 'serious case for Deism' concession being the latest, which morphed
into 'Oh, that was a debate tactic, I don't really believe that' well after
the fact.)
