But we aren't doing religion *in disguise*. It was because I was
upfront that when I talked about design I was *not* doing science but
religion that got me booted from UD in less than 24 hours. That was my
"sin" and my very existence was all too inconvenient. You would think
that noting the limitations of science that is incapable of commenting
on origins would be accepted by ID.

On UD and in other online fora I was trying to reach common ground
between EC and ID (and despite my current failures I will still
attempt to do that). That did not stop my positions from being
misrepresented all in the name of "worldviews" and apparently some of
my comments being censored. Properly done, worldview analysis can be
helpful. Oftentimes, however, it is a convenient way to be
intellectually sloppy. Given how my own views have been misrepresented
I am much more sensitive whenever I see the word worldview. If a
person says they hold a position for a particular reason they should
not be easily contradicted. I can grant that Miller and Collins might
have overreacted but the constant drip drip drip of false accusation
has its effects on people. If people associated with Christianity and
the Gospel tell me things I know are wrong then why should I accept
the Gospel that I might not know is correct?
