I fear you have not understood Dawkins on his terms. Since he has
declared himself superior to the god-idea, he can sit in judgment on it.
He does not view himself as a constitutional monarch who is limited, but
like Henry VIII who could do pretty much as he pleased. Or, to place it
in more recent terms, his approach involves /Heil mich!/.
