Re: [asa] Miracle healing?

I often wonder whether my own skepticism at claims of miracles isn't fueled
in some ways by fear. It seems that most of the "miracle" stories I hear
about come from people I would frankly judge as not very sophisticated
intellectually or theologically. Maybe it's true that some of these stories
arise because the people involved are too credulous. But could it also be
that my supposedly superior education sometimes gets in the way of the
mysteries of faith experiences like miraculous healings? Am I sometimes
just too afraid of not being in control?
