It should be clear from the context of Romans 5:12 and I Corinthians 15:21
that Paul has in mind only the death of humans. In the former he discusses
death spreading to all men because all sinned. In the latter he contrasts
it with the resurrection of humans. Similarly, when the Bible refers to
Eve as the mother of all living, we assume that the reference is only to
humans.
