I certainly hope not! The issue here ought to be "Is the scripture in
question meant to be read literally -- or not?" Obviously, I hold the
position that it should not be and I have studied -- at least somewhat --
the arguments on both sides. As, apparently, you and most posters here have
also done. Maybe Vernon has also -- but I don't detect that in his
arguments.
