I've been studying Genesis lately, and I think I saw something I never
saw before. This is kind of regarding the "appearance of age." Not
only did God create Adam and Eve with adult body parts, but also the
memory and intellectual system of adults. How else could they
communicate with God and each other? God told them not to eat from the
special tree. The serpent had a good discussion with Eve, not just
grunts and sign language. Think how hard it takes to learn a language,
yet Adam and Eve had that on day 1 of their existence. Also, Adam was
help responsible, as an adult. My 4 year old can talk, but I wouldn't
hold him responsible for adult decisions, so that means Adam must have
had an adult knowledge base built into his brain. All of this makes a
literal interpretation so much more difficult, as if it wasn't too
difficult to start with...
