What's most interesting about that article is the reference to a New Baptist
Convention conference in Atlanta next year which is featuring Sen's Chuck
Grassley and Lindsey Graham, former Presidents Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter,
Al Gore and Bill Moyers and Tony Compolo.

Wow! All Baptist I guess but what strange bedfellows. It will be interesting
to see where this leads. They have an exhibitors area so let me know if ASA
wants to sponsor a booth and I will staff it for you.

Although this article has to do with a particular denomination, there
are aspects of it that touch or resonate with some of the past
conversations on the ASA list server.
It's well and powerfully written and insightful with respect to an
emergent generation's take on the state of the church and its relevance.
