It doesn't actually say that he's respected, just that he's more
respected than most creation scientists.

I think Snelling has actually done some legitmate geology work, though
as this indicates that he knows better than what he teaches, it's
doubtful whether this earns more respect than someone whose work shows
no sign of knowing better.
