I just heard an interesting interview with Neil Turak - he is a Cambridge
cosmologist, evidently there is a "revised" Big Bang theory out there -
its called a/the "cyclic theory" as opposed to the "inflationary theory",
attempts to incorporate dark energy into the grand scheme of things. The
interview was actually an NPR podcast - On Point w/ Tom Ashbrook - has
Turak and an inflationary theory cosmologist on discussing the points of
both theories.

I believe that Turak and a Princeton cosmologist have co-authored a book
