For a public response: Send to asa@calvin.edu ONLY. Like I did here.
For a private response: Do a "reply all", remove asa@calvin.edu, and change
the subject to include OFF LIST in it. That way people know that you are
responding privately and not accidentally leak it to the list. It's against
list rules to drift away from faith/science issues and into political ones.
In fact, there is a filter on this list that moderates against certain
"charged" words. You may see asterisks in strange places in some posts in
order to get around the filter. Instead of doing that, if that's what you
want to discuss, then do so privately.
Since I haven't hadn't had the chance, welcome!!
Your Brother in Christ,
Rich
P.S. I sometimes accidentally violate the rules above. I did this post in
part to remind myself in addition to helping your out.
