That is because the list is set up so the default reply goes back to the
poster and not the whole list. Actually that is good on a busy list
like this one. It encourages private responses. All you need to do is
add asa@calvin.edu on the to line. Actually if you group reply the asa
list address will be there.

However in either case if you are replying to a post please remove the
other e-mails from the to line. Otherwise they get double posts of your
message (one directly from you and one from the list).

Alright, I think several of my responses to questions on my original
